Happiness when you least expect it
“Happiness is as a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but which if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.” —Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804-1864)

The concept of “…only when I STOP pursuing what I want, do I ever get it” never stops to amaze me! The idea of “attracting” what I desire by simply being myself … and not being aggressive or pursuing … is so freeing … and so “against the grain” that I must keep reminding myself of it. And of how easy it is!Happiness is what I want the most, but there are so many other things I want … love, respect, freedom, time, money, success … on and on and on. So, one of my new habits for 20088 is to STOP pursuing the things I want, and START just being myself. Just freeing (or allowing) myself to be exactly who and what I am! How about you? What habits do you want to establish for yourself in 2008?
