Passion is the Path . . .
” … passion is the path. It is the way to self-realization. Even in earthly terms it can be fairly said that if you have a passion for nothing, you have not life at all.”
—Neale Donald Walsch “Conversations With God”

The problem that I see all too often is that having PASSION (for anything!) is a “should-not” to many people (…I “should-not” be passionate, it is wrong to be “that” way!- I’ll look silly. People will think I’m nuts). Therefore, many of us live our lives suppressing our passion; and therefore not having much of a life … then, when we DO choose to live passionately (because we simply cannot live without it anymore), those around us feel threatened (any change is threatening, especially if it appears the other person will not have as much control). And too often, the person who did choose to have a life, then chooses that it is not worth the pain to live passionately; thereby ending their real life (ending their chance at realizing their true selves) and settling for a life of mere acceptance … sacrificing their passion for, at best, contentment … which often results in lack of happiness and the growth of resentment.
