Are YOU a Caged Bird Singing

“We think caged birds sing, when indeed they cry.”—John Webster
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’ve known many caged birds.  Often even they had convinced themselves that they were singing. But there always came a time when they realized they were crying. I can temporarily convince myself, or put up a front that convinces others, that I “feel” just about any way that I want myself to feel.  But TIME is the great truth-teller. I can only continue to convince myself for a limited time. Eventually the truth always comes out!  Who do you know that in truth is crying?  The security of a cage is no substitute for freedom!
